Minh Long – at 22, burdened with orphanhood and debt
Losing his father at an early age, and then unexpectedly losing his mother after graduation, Minh Long has to shoulder a debt of nearly 140 million VND and take care of his younger brother. At 22, which should be the time to start a career, Long is forced to make a living through a job unrelated to his field to repay the debt and maintain the family.Uncle Nguyen Huu Xuan’s family – a parent’s love never lets go of their children.
In his later years, Uncle Xuan not only worries about making a living but also attends to his two children: one who suffered a stroke, and the other who has a mental illness. The medical debt of nearly 90 million VND along with the dilapidated house makes life even more difficult.
