Minh Long – 22 years old facing the burden of being orphaned and in debt
Having lost his father at a young age, and then unexpectedly losing his mother after graduation, Minh Long has to shoulder a debt of nearly 140 million VND while taking care of his younger brother. At 22, which should be the beginning of his career, Long is forced to make a living through unrelated jobs to repay debts and keep the family stable.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Xuan’s family – a parent’s love that never lets go of their children
In his twilight years, Mr. Xuan not only worries about making a living but also stands by to care for his two children: one who suffered a stroke and the other who has a mental illness. The medical debt of nearly 90 million VND coupled with a dilapidated house makes life even tougher. Despite this, a parent’s love remains a firm support for the children to overcome their illnesses.
